We say we cannot
Go all the way.
We'll just take a step
In the right direction.

So we take our single step.
Then we shoot ourselves in the foot
So we'll only have one foot.
Progress must be slowed.
Lollygagging our way toward righteousness,
We hop around aimlessly.
