I finally put on imperfection,
An acceptance of something that hadn't been cloned,
A film strip I had left on the cutting room floor
So many times before
Because it was true to life,
Something too often invisible to the world.
I finally put on imperfection,
Something from a rejected mold.
I finally stripped myself of fantasy
And put on truth.
