When I was just a Tad,
My name was Jonathan.
It wasn't until college
My middle name took root.

Tad-Man and Tadster
Became a friend's salute
To a short and simple name
He apparently found cute.

Still Jonathan to some
And Tad to most,
I sometimes wonder who I am.

Rotating identities sometimes makes me dizzy,
So I sit down and drink a soda pop.
I love it 'cause it's fizzy!
